Identity, Authentication and the Road Ahead 2025 has ended

More than 15 states have started to offer some form of mobile Driver’s License (mDL), and many more are considering launching their own.  However, to date, almost all mDL applications are limited to in-person use cases, while the most promising and impactful applications of mDLs lie in their potential use as a tool to help Americans better protect and assert their identity online.  This panel will explore the state of the mDL ecosystem and explore what more needs to be done to help to fully close the gap between physical and digital credentials.
