About me
Grant is (Acting) Deputy Technical Director for Cybersecurity at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. In this role, he also oversees CISA’s efforts to improve its internal capabilities and adopt a unified, data centric, and secure approach to enabling CISA’s cyber missions. He also serves on the Technical Advisory Group to the FedRAMP program. In his time at CISA, he has driven a variety of CISA-led and government wide policy efforts to improve cloud security and advance resilience to nation state targeting of digital identity systems. Previously, he was Principal Engineer (Engineering Director level) and chief architect for Google Cloud Platform’s IAM capabilities, where he provided technical direction for the identity platform that powers GCP. He has worked at multiple roles in industry, DHS, and OMB in his 15+ years in cybersecurity and technology.
